Looking for a way to work off all that Thanksgiving Day food. Come join the Trails Advisory Committee members working on the Ferncliff trail project off of the end of Cave Ave Saturday Nov 26 from 10am to 2pm.

Erik Sherwin will be leading a crew of volunteers brushing out the corridor of the trail that will connect the end of Cave Ave to the new Ferncliff Village project.

Hi all,

The next TAC work party is scheduled for Oct 22. You can meet us at Manzanita Park to work on some drainage issues on the trail. The work party will be from 10am to 2pm. Come dressed for the weather with gloves, and your favorite trail tool.

September is Harvest Fair – September 25 at Johnson Farm. Sept. 10, 17,and 24th are all work parties to get the site ready for this amazing community event. 2-3,000 of your neighbors come out to have a day of farm fun.

Please attend these work parties and help make this happen. Weed eaters are needed along with rakes, pruning tools, and gloves. There is grass to be cut, fences to be built, a stage to construct, and much more. Every day will have the famous free catered lunch at noon to celebrate the day and talk with your friends over great food.

Join the Trails Advisory Committee on Sept 17th in the lower parking lot at Ft Ward Park to repair sections of the trail and prep it for the winter rainy season. The work party will be hosted by the Boy Scouts from 9am to 1pm.

Bring gloves, appropriate clothing, and your favorite trail tool and join the fun.

Please join the Bainbridge Island Metro Park and Recreation District on Saturday July 23rd at the Ferncliff Village project on Ferncliff Ave, just north of Wing Point Way to help with the clearing of a trail corridor that will connect the Ferncliff Village to the end of Cave Ave via a public access trail easement.

Volunteers should bring gloves, water, a snack, and favorite tool to assist with the removal of vegetation from the trail corridor. The District, and members of the Trails Advisory Committee, will provide tools, extra water, and supervision of the project.

Join us Saturday May 21 at the Grand Forest East from 10 am to 2pm for a trail work party. We will be meeting at the parking area on the South end of the Park on Mandus Olson Rd. You can access that part of the Park off of New Brooklyn Rd.
