About Bainbridge Island Trails

We are the Trails Advisory Committee of Bainbridge Island in the state of Washington. We, the volunteer members of the committee, advise the Board and staff on trails-related issues, work with Park District staff to develop new trails, and help the staff maintain existing trails.

We sometimes work with other Island groups on trails-related issues. These have included the City’s Open Space Commission, the City Council’s Non-Motorized Transportation Committee, as well as independent organizations such as BI Land Trust and Squeaky Wheels.
We also work with the Waterfront Trails Committee, advising them on development of the Eagle Harbor waterfront trail.

The Committee meets monthly, currently on the first Monday of each month (excluding August) at 7pm, Strawberry Hill Center, behind the Park District offices on High School Road. All people interested in helping us meet our goals are welcome to attend meetings, join the mailing list, and come out and work on trails with us!
